THE EIGHTH  AMENDMENT



The Eighth Amendment is imposing excessive bail, excessive fines or cruel and unusual punishment including torture. This right was established December 15 1791. Its important because it protects the individual from excessive bail or fines. No unusual punishments.

Thomas Jefferson was born in shad well VA. Thomas attend the college of William and Mary. He was a good writer for his age. His family was wealthy and he was well known in his town. He became governor of VA. Thomas was a orthodox Christian for his religion. Thomas was really not a big part but he spoke for people in the army. He wanted every one to be equal in his country he could not do the slaves but he could us the people from the British.
